Tax contribution by taxes
Aena's tax contribution in 2019 amounted to €826.8 million.
Taxes paid by Aena during the year amounted to €585.4 M, being the most important corporate income tax amounting to €432.1 M.
Taxes collected by Aena in the period amounted to €241.4 M, being the most important withholding taxes, that amounted to €55.5 M, and withholding dividends, that amounted to €74 M.

Distribution by tax type
The next chart shows the distribution of Aena’s €826.8 M tax contribution.
- Income tax, which includes withholdings on investment income, is the largest tax contribution at €506.1 M (61.2% of the contribution).
- Employment taxes (Social Security contributions and personal income tax withholdings) account for €158.7 M (19.2%).
- Property taxes contribute €141.3 M (17.1%).
- The rest of taxes contribute €20.8 M (2.5%).
